A tailoring-led exploration rooted in the traditional tailor’s role of finding solutions for the individual body - from corpulent and stout figures to variations in posture and stance. The collection takes these principles to an extreme, imagining hunched backs, distorted stances and unnaturally long limbs, then constructing garments around them.

It also deliberately challenges the rules of fit itself. Where tailoring traditionally follows and accommodates the body - a collar sitting closely to the neck, for example - garments were designed to resist, distort or depart from it. Learning the rules, then unlearning them. Through this, the project searches for beauty and character in proportions conventionally considered imperfect or undesirable.
